Dr Thomas Cosker is a 35 year old Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England who has a Specialist Interest in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Upper Limb Trauma. Dr Thomas Cosker completed his Oxford Training Rotation over the past six years, he has now moved to Exeter to undertake his Upper Limb Fellowship with Professor Tim Bunker.
Dr Cosker has won several prizes during his training including the Gold Medal at the Welsh Orthopaedic Society and the Gold Medal at the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society for his work. He is the author of over twenty peer reviewed publications, the Editor of three books and a regular writer for the medical press and other parties. Thomas Cosker took a year out to work for the internationally renowned management consultants, McKinsey & Co which was both hugely enjoyable and also hugely challenging!

In 2011, Thomas Cosker organised the first ever UK Miller Review Course - a specialist Orthopaedic Course for those approaching their FRCS (Tr & Orth) examinations. It was attended by 90 trainee surgeons and around 25 Consultant lecturers and was a huge success. The course attracted sponsorship from 10 major Industry Sponsors and was reviewed in the National Orthopaedic Press. The next course will run in January 2012.
Outside of Surgery, Doctor Thomas Cosker enjoys spending time with his family. He has a wife, Alana, a two year old son, Will and another baby on the way. With the little time that Thomas Cosker has left outside work (!), he enjoys walking, cooking, good wine and racquet sports. Thomas Cosker is passionate about his work and life in general and is a source of tremendous enthusiasm.
